Maths
Fractions, calculations, measures and shapes — with questions that ask children to think about why a method works, not just remember it.
Weekly Programme
One weekly test in each subject: Maths, Reading, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal & Spatial Reasoning.
Complete them across the week in the way that works for your family. There is no daily target to keep up with.

Fractions, calculations, measures and shapes — with questions that ask children to think about why a method works, not just remember it.
02
Read carefully, work out what unfamiliar words mean and spot what a writer is hinting at. The answer is not always sitting in the first sentence.
03
Find links between words, follow sequences and crack codes. Familiarity helps when a question looks odd at first glance.
04
Spot patterns, turn shapes in your head and work out how pieces fit together. This is non-verbal and spatial reasoning: thinking with pictures.

If a weekly test has a print option, your child can work on paper instead of the screen.
Printing a test doesn't count as completing it. If your child works on paper, you can later enter the answers here so the work can be submitted and reviewed.
The Free Diagnostic is completed online and cannot be printed.
Previous weeks
Completed weekly activities stay in the pupil’s previous weeks, with the work and feedback together.
